#1) Option: Sky Sports Now Package
When we moved to New Zealand we found it difficult to watch North American sports because (1) the time zone difference puts the games in the morning/afternoon. (2) most sports bars in NZ only show one stream across all of their TVs (usually rugby coverage on Sky Sports).
Therefore, for true NHL fans in NZ we recommend you >buy a 1 month pass< to Sky Sports Now NZ.
Sky Sports Now Gives You Access To:
ESPN 1 + 2 - Home of the 2024 NHL Playoffs in NZ/AUS
Sky Sports Channels - showcasing rugby and European sports
Stream the games anywhere on your phone
Start from beginning of the game feature

NHL Playoffs Matchup - Toronto Maple Leafs vs Boston Bruins
One of the best rivalries in NHL history will battle in a 7 game series: maybe the best matchup of Round 1?
Boston (47-20-15) has won 6 straight playoff series against Toronto. Will Toronto break the streak? Or will Boston continue to “own” the Leafs?
Boston is led by star players David Pastrnak, Brad Marchand, and 2 of the best goalies in the league.
Toronto finished the season (46-26-10). This is a deep Toronto team, led by star players like Auston Matthews (69 goals, 107 pts), William Nylander (98 pts), Mitch Marner (85 pts) and captain John Tavares (65 points).
Bordersology highly recommends that you watch a game live from this series at one of Auckland’s great sports bars! (Listed Below)

It is hard to forget the heartbreak (and riots) that occurred when the Canucks lost the 2011 Stanley Cup Finals GM 7 at home to Boston.
The Canucks have a stacked roster, led by young stars Quinn Hughes, Elias Peterson, Brock Boeser and veteran players JT Miller, Elias Lindholm.
The Nashville Predators (47-30-5) enter the series playing good hockey, led by superstar goaltender Juuse Saros (who could give the Canucks issues in this series)

NHL Playoffs Matchup - Edmonton Oilers vs LA Kings
Is 2024 the year that the stacked Edmonton Oilers (49-27-6) finally win a Stanley Cup?
Edmonton has the NHL’s best player Connor McDavid (132 pts) and allstar player Leon Draisaitl (106 pts) on the same line. However, every year the team seems to collapse in the playoffs due to poor goaltending/defence.
The Los Angeles Kings (44-27-11) surprised the league this year by making the playoffs.
Many fans thought they were in a rebuilding year, but here they are against Edmonton, again.
The Kings will need some magic from franchise vets Anze Kopitar and Drew Doughty if they are going to have any chance vs Edmonton.
